Anarchist group wants bloodshed: PM

He added that this is not a peaceful protest, but extremism

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Tuesday said that targeting law enforcers is condemnable, the anarchist group does not want revolution but bloodshed.

Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the attack on Rangers and police personnel by protesters on the Srinagar Highway with a vehicle and also expressed deep sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of the Rangers personnel who were crushed by a vehicle in the attack.

He prayed for the high ranks of the martyred personnel and patience for the families and also directed them to immediately identify those involved in the incident and bring them to justice.

The Prime Minister has also directed to provide the best medical facilities to the Rangers and police personnel injured in the attack.

In this regard, Shehbaz Sharif said that attacks on police and Rangers personnel under the guise of so-called peaceful protests are condemnable. The anarchist group is deliberately targeting law enforcement agencies. Police and Rangers personnel are assigned to maintain law and order in the city.

The Prime Minister stated that the lives of the families of security personnel were destroyed by the anarchist group and is accountable to the innocent children and families of the police personnel who were martyred yesterday and the Rangers personnel who were martyred today.

He added that the anarchist group does not want a revolution, it wants bloodshed. This is not a peaceful protest, but extremism. Pakistan cannot tolerate any chaos and bloodshed.

Shehbaz Sharif further said that bloodshed for nefarious political purposes is unacceptable and highly condemnable. The entire nation, including him, paid tribute to the martyred Rangers and police personnel.
